Can I Relate Stupidity to Business?
So... here's the deal... the Adam's truck that many have gotten used to seeing tooling around the State of Iowa... is no more. That's right. Someone, "the stupid one", (who'll remain nameless) decided that it would be wise to speed down my side street and hit my truck while it was minding it's own business parked by the curb.
I can't help but sit back and shake my head. If only I had gotten my bar finished 2 years ago... the carpenter wouldn't have had his truck in my driveway... and I would've been parked safely off the dangerous streets.
Is there a business spin to this anywhere? Maybe procrastination causes it? Or maybe I'm just supposed to be stuck at home on a Monday with no wheels, no coffee and the faint memory of my favorite truck I've ever owned. Check out the pics but I'm warning you... they're not pretty.

Oh Adam!! You poor guy. If I lived closer I would bring you your coffee (but by the time i got it from NY to Iowa it would be both very cold, and probably really nasty tasting). And your poor poor truck. Anyone who could do that to such a beautiful truck should be drawn and quartered. But at least you weren't in it! So at least there is one good thing to come from it. You are safe and sound correct?

Well, the good news is that you were not in it at the time. Also, I suspect that the person that hit your truck is have a worse day that you are.
From a business perspective, there would therefore be two stories.
1) The business owner that does not watch where they're going and winds up completely derailing their business plans.
2) The business owner to whom catastrophe strikes, but since they've been active in the community, numerous people step up to give them a hand.
Speaking of which, want me to drop off some coffee for you on my way home? *grin*

Perhaps the only thing not offered by your Insurance Company...."Coffee Delivery"
I can see it now...
Ouch, man you weren't kidding. All that damage with such a short run way...about a block. Good thing you weren't out jogging!

You got a busted truck, and this morning my dad broke his shoulder, and I do mean literally busted it. Can't work for 2-4 weeks in a best case. Fun for us all around!
